Outer Banks Beach, Surf & Fishing Report
Good morning everyone! This is Brandon from Seaside Vacations with your Outer Banks Beach, Surf & Fishing Report for Friday, July 26, 2013.
This picture and video were taken in Kill Devil Hills, NC at 8:30 a.m. this morning.
Beach
Weather this morning isn’t the best, overcast and only about 70 degrees. However, later today expect lots of sun and warm temperatures in the high 70s. No chance of rain today so hit the beach this afternoon.
Surf
Today’s surf conditions this morning are pretty good, I saw a few local surfers catching waves before work. This morning’s wave height between 2 to 3ft and warm ocean water temperatures in the high 60s. Grab a surf board, body board or kayak and catch some waves today!
Fishing
Surf and pier fishing is fantastic this morning, plenty of Sea Mullet, Flounder, Spot and Croaker. Nags Head/Manteo causeway full of anglers this morning, they’re catching Trout, Croakers, Puppy Drum and Sheepshead. Offshore boats brought in tons of Yellowfin Tuna, Dolphin and Wahoo.
