This video was shot under the Avalon Pier in Kill Devil Hills this morning at 8:30AM.
Another beautiful morning on the beach! The high today is 78 degrees and the low tonight should drop to about 67 degrees. The wind is blowing South at about 11mph. Only a 10% chance of rain today but increases to 60% chance tonight late.
If you’re thinking about going fishing, do it! The fish are still biting all up and down the Outer Banks. They’re catching Trout, Black Drum, Sheepshead, Puppy Drum, Spot, Bluefish, Pompano and Spanish Mackerel.
The surf is there, but it’s small. It’s about knee high and the water conditions are very clean and glassy – for now!
